new car shopping

I have been looking for a new car. I think my James Bond days are over for now. The puppy is coming and I have no back seat. So I've been to dealers and even went to the LA Car show, which is fucking awful on a Sunday.

First stop BMW. I don't know, the idea is to save money, and while BMW is a status thing and a comfortable car, they're super common and somewhat boring.

Next stop Volkswagen. Like the Passat. Luxury and that key is super cyber sexy cute. But nothing to drool over. I don't exactly get hard thinking about fahrvergnugen.

Then the rental car, a Mercedes C230. Very nice, comfortable. Not fast but not too slow. Starts at the same price as a loaded Accord, so maybe.

Off to the car show. Saturn Sky, I love you so. But I can't do another 2 seater. Keep an eye out for the Saturn Aura, it's quite pretty. Also watch out for the Chrysler Imperial, a RRPhantom knockoff. VW has the new EOS, a hardtop convertible that looks great with the top down and cheap and dull when up.

The MBenz area of the show was disgustingly crowded with people clicking pics with cell phones and realizing their dream of actually SITTING in a Mercedes.

Wow I feel like such a geek writing my new car reviews. But anyway, Zeke will soon be up for sale and I'll be paying for something new and (i pray) exciting.
