so you have the word HORROR - which can be changed into HORRIBLE which is bad or HORRIFIC which is really bad too

then you have the word TERROR which means about the same thing, and can be changed into TERRIBLE which is bad but then there's TERRIFIC, which is completely unrelated.

No, I do not have interest in looking up the true etymology of the word. My observation stands on its own.
